The Sisseton Redmen Girls Wrestling Team placed four wrestlers in the top six at the 2024 Floyd Farrand Invite at Sioux Falls Lincoln on Monday, Dec. 30.

Vi Anderson set the pace for the Redmen Girls Wrestling Team, taking third place at 120 lbs. Clara Iverson took fifth place at 107 lbs., Harley Iverson took fifth at 114 lbs., and Maryann Rice took sixth at 165 lbs. The Sisseton Redmen Girls Gymnastics Team placed six in the top 14 at the Britton/Hecla Triangular on Monday, Dec. 30.

Sisseton’s Izzy Metz was the All Around Champion, Bri White took seventh in the All Around, VieAnn Klapperich took ninth, Scarlett Hanson tied for eleventh, Valerie Myrum took thirteenth, and Elle Metz took fourteenth. Sisseton Girls Basketball Team falls to Mitchell

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team fell to the Mitchell Kernels 48-53 in the Hoops Classic on Monday, Dec. 30, at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Sisseton jumped out to a 15-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, and held the lead 24-19 at halftime. Michell outscored Sisseton 34-24 in the second half to take home the victory.
