Sisseton’s homecoming spoiled

The Sisseton Redmen foot- ball team had their homecoming spoiled by the Wagner Community Red Raiders 18-15 on Friday, Sept. 15 at the Sisseton Athletic Complex.

Sisseton’s offense had 25 first downs and 267 yards of total offense, 65 yards rushing and 199 passing.

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team moved its record to 3-4 with a 3-1 (24- 26, 25-23, 25-23 and 28-26) win over the Webster Bearcats on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.

Sisseton Redmen Volleyball team falls to Deuel

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team hosted the Deuel Cardinals on Thursday, Sept. 14, during Homecoming week. Sisseton fell to Deuel 1-3 (19-25, 25-17, 22-25 and 18-25) to move its record to 3-5 on the season.

Sisseton golfers travel to Redfield

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Golf Team traveled to Redfield to compete in the Redfield Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Sisseton’s Luke Nielsen took 27th place shooting a 92. Cash Opsal took 38th shooting a 105, Bradley Hansen took 40th shooting a 108, and Max Dahlen came in 43rd shooting a 111.

Finn Anderson of Aberdeen Roncalli was the medalist shooting a 79. Watertown took the team title.

Sisseton will host the Sisseton Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Cross Country Team travels to Aberdeen

The Sisseton Redmen Cross Country Team traveled to Aberdeen to compete in the Roncalli Invite on Thursday, Sept. 14.

Sisseton’s Ryder Graff took 15th place in the 5K run in a time of 20:01.18. Keondray White took 29th in a time of 21:24.31.

Kaleb Foltz of Tri-State was the medalist, running the 5K run in 17:33.69. Deuel won the team title.

Sisseton will host the Sisseton Invite on Thursday, Sept. 28.

Milbank hosts Cross Country

The Milbank Bulldogs held the Grandstay Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Sept. 9.

Sisseton’s Ryder Graff took 26th place running the 5K run in 18:54.94, and Keondray White took 47th running the 5K in 20:49.51.

Milbank’s Payton Brown was the medalist, running the 5K run in 16:00.91 and helping his team win the team title.

Cross Country Team travels to Webster

The Sisseton Redmen Cross Country Team trav- eled to Webster to compete in the Webster Area Invite on Monday, Sept. 11.

Sisseton’s Ryder Graff took 15th place in the 5K run in a time of 20:18.25. Keondray White took 33rd in a time of 22:05.86.

Kaleb Foltz of Tri State was the medalist in a time of 17:33.30. Frederick Area won the team title.

Sisseton Volleyball scores first victory of season

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team got its first victory of the season with a 3-2 win (13-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-25 and 15-11) over the Hankinson Pirates at Ben Reifel Gymnasium in Sisseton on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Sisseton will host Webster Area on Tuesday, Sept. 12, and Deuel on Thursday, Sept. 14, for Homecoming week.

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team fell to Estelline Hendricks 0-3 (25-27, 19-25 and 18-25) on Tuesday. Aug. 21. No other stats were available.

The Redmen Volleyball Team suffered another loss when they traveled to Groton to take on the Tigers on Thursday, Aug. 31. Groton defeated Sisseton 0-3 (22-25, 18-25 and 20-25). No other stats were available at press time.

Sisseton Volleyball Team picks up second win at Redfield match

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team traveled to Redfield to take on the Pheasants in a Northeast Conference match on Thursday, Sept. 7. The Redmen won 3-1 (25-17, 18-25, 33-31 and 28-26) to pick up their second win of the season.
