Sisseton Girls fall to Mobridge-Pollock

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team fell to the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers 57-69 on Saturday, Dec. 14, in Mobridge.

Krista Langager had 20 points to pace the Redmen. Elliot Hortness connected for 15 points, and Alexia Quinn added 12 points.

Sisseton Boys open season against Mobridge-Pollock

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team opened up the season on the road at Mobridge-Pollock with a 31-60 loss on Saturday, Dec. 14, in a double header with the girls.

Sisseton gymnasts open season at home

The Sisseton Redmen Gym-nastics Team opened up the season hosting the Sisseton Triangular on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Ben Reifel Gym. Sisseton and Milbank tied for first place (120.350), and Breckenridge-Wahpeton took third (29.050). Hannah Brown of Milbank was the All-Around champion.

Sisseton was led by Izzy Metz’s third place finish in All-Around, which included a first place finish on floor, a tie for first on vault, and third place on beam. Colie Schultz took sixth in the All-Around and placed fourth on vault.

Tiospa Zina Volleyball Team ends season at Regions

The Tiospa Zina Wambdi Volleyball Team ended its season at Regions, with a win in the first round on Monday, Nov. 4, and a loss in the Regional 1B Quarterfinal match on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The Wambdi won at home against the Waubay/Summit Mustangs on Monday by a score of 3-2 (19-25, 25-19, 28-26, 18-25 and 15-11), but suffered a 0-3 loss (14-25, 1-25 and 9-25) to the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots at Tuesday’s Region 1B Quarterfinal match at Tulare to bring the Tiospa Zina Volleyball season to an end.

Milbank ends Sisseton volleyball season at Region

The Milbank Bulldogs Volleyball Team ended the Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team’s season with a 3-1 victory (25-14, 25-18, 15-25 and 25-11) on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the opening round of Region 1A play at the Aberdeen Roncalli Gym.

Great Plains Lutheran Panthers make a comeback to win over Sisseton Redmen

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team hosted the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers, with Sisseton winning the first set 25-23 and Great Plains Luther-an coming back to win the next three sets (25-14, 25-15 and 25-17) to take home the victory.
