Gary G. Houghton, 74, Claire City, SD, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in his home.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Claire City with Rev. Karie Geyer and Rev. Pat Schubert officiating.

Burial will be in the Claire City Cemetery.

Interment will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD, at a later date.

Burial was in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, New Effington.

Visitation was 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, closing at 7:00 p.m. with the Rosary at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster, SD.

Burial was at the Waubay Catholic Cemetery
