Julie Joanne (Halseide) Streitz, 70, of Warner, SD, passed away in her home on March 16, 2024.
The funeral service to honor her was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, Warner, SD. Pastor Arlyn Rusche officiated along with a special message from Julie’s nephew, Pastor Justin Iverson.
The visitation was from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024, with family present from 5:00-7:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main Street, Aberdeen.

Carolyn Virginia Nelson

On March 12, 2024, Carolyn Nelson, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Tekakwitha Living Center in Sisseton, SD, at the age of 82.

Memorial services are currently pending, likely to be held in the Spring and Summer of 2024. Please watch for updates as they become available.

Funeral Mass for Lloyd David Rowland, 77, of Sisseton, SD, was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD, with Rev. Fr. Gregg Frankman Celebrant.

There was visitation one hour prior to the funeral mass at the church.

Interment was in St Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD

David Edwin Alinder age 78, formerly of Fargo, ND, passed away on March 8, 2024, in Watertown, SD.

A memorial service took place at 2:00 p.m., Thursday March 14, 2024 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo, ND.

A visitation began one hour prior to services.

Burial took place at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.

Wyatt Lee Rowland, 17, of Ree Heights, SD, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in rural Hand County.

Funeral service was 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Hyde County Memorial Auditorium.

Visitation began at noon.

Burial will be the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miller, SD, at a later date.

Roy Alvin Cleveland, 93, of Sisseton, SD, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services for Roy Cleveland were held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton, SD. Pastor Paul Kosel officiated.

A visitation was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the church one hour prior to funeral services.

Interment followed at Buffalo Lake Lutheran Cemetery in Eden, SD, with Military Rites by the Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post 50.

Margaret Thuringer, 96, of Roslyn and formerly of Eden, SD, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Strand Kjorsvig Living Center in Roslyn, SD. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m, Satur- day, February 17, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eden, SD.

Visitation was at 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024 at the church and closed with a 6:00 p.m. wake service

Interment was at St. Michael's Catholic Ceme- tery near Eden.

Deloris “Dee” Bertram

Deloris “Dee” Arlene (Jackson) Bertram, age 95, Wheaton, MN, formerly of Rosholt, SD, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the Traverse Care Center in Wheaton.

Her funeral service was Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethania Lutheran Church in Rosholt with Rev. Nancy Quatier officiating.

Burial was in the St. Joseph’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Rosholt.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Bakken- Young Funeral & Cremation Services (728 S Knowles Ave) in New Richmond, WI, with a visitation starting one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in New Richmond Cemetery.
