It is with heavy hearts that a Memorial Service for Jewelle Melaine Hart, 60, of Sisseton, SD was held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the S.W.O Tribal Community Center in Agency Village, SD with CRE Gerald Heminger Jr. officiating.

Inurnment was at the Mayasan Presbyterian Cemetery, Claire City, SD.

Harvey was a wonderful husband to his wife of 58 years. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother and friends to many. Sadly he left this world on October 7, 2024, at the age of 90.

As we remember Harvey, we will honor his legacy of uplifting humor and genuine warmth that always brought smiles to those around him. His stories and jokes will be missed by all. His family will deeply miss him.

Mavis J. Showalter, age 90 of Princeton, MN, passed away on October 22, 2024, surrounded by family at her home.

Funeral Services was Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1901 Portland Ave. S, Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior to the service.Pastor Tom Parrish officiated.

Burial was on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area # 4, in Minneapolis.

Randy Lee Hofland, 67, of Aberdeen, SD, passed away on September 24, 2024, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, September 30, at Aldersgate Church, with Pastor Derek Baum and Pastor Mike Waldrop officiating.

Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Mary L. Klein (Piechowski), age 93 of Frazee, MN, formerly of Rosholt, SD, died Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Frazee Care Center.

A Reciting of the Rosary began at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in rural Perham, MN, followed by the visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Hankinson, ND, at a later date.

Celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kay Reeb officiating.
There was visitation on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5:00-6:00 p.m. at Cahill's Funeral Chapel, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral service for Wallace “Wally” R. Brantseg is on October 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. Officiating the service will be Vicar Pat Schubert.
Inurnment will be immediately following the service with Military Rites by Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post # 50 and Ft. Sisseton VFW Post # 3342.

Funeral Mass for Patrick James Nigg, 79, of Sisseton, SD, was held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Sisseton, SD, with Fr. Ken Lulf Celebrant.
There was visitation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. There was visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Interment was in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.

Jill Marie (Bartnick) Errett, a strong and devoted family woman, 42, of Plainfield, IN, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Family and friends showed their love and support from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024 and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville.
A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. following visitation on Monday September 9, 2024 at the banquet center.
A private burial will take place at a later date

Celebration of Life Service for Karen Jean Richards, 81, of Sisseton, SD, was held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Sisseton, SD, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Joshua Knudsen and Vicar Pat Schubert officiated.

There was visitation on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Cahill Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
