Deutsch Printing Inc. D/B/A Sisseton Courier

Our History

The history of the Sisseton Courier is interwoven with several other city and county newspapers that existed throughout the years. Many newspapers were founded, operated and later either closed, or were purchased and later merged with the Sisseton Courier. Like the City of Sisseton which was founded in 1892. The Sisseton Courier is the same age, as the first edition which was named then the Sisseton Standard, was printed May 28, 1892 just forty three days after the opening of the Sisseton Wahpeton Reservation on April 15, 1892.
