Clarence Howard Jordahl, 86, of Red Wing, MN, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Benedictine Living Community, St. Crispin in Red Wing.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at a later date at the Bethel Cemetery in Sisseton, SD.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Scandia Cemetery near Sisseton, SD.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025 at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD.

His family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD.

Burial at Bethel Cemetery in rural Roberts County, SD.

Russell K. Veflin, age 76, Sisseton, SD, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Funeral Services were Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton with Rev. Josh Knudsen officiating.

Visitation was Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Burial was in the Scandia Cemetery, rural Sisseton.

Sylvia M. (Lams) Jaspers

Sylvia Marie (Lams) Jaspers passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at age 88.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eden, SD.

Visitation was held at the church on Thursday, May 29, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

prayer vigil was held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continued at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Burial was at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Eden.

Carole (Tarrell, nee Schmaus) Thorp, age 82, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
The family was present to greet friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory with the Liturgical Wake Service at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass began at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Lambert Catholic Church in Sioux Falls.
Interment immediately following at the South Dakota State Veterans Cemetery.
