Dy passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025 at Vibra Hospital, Fargo, ND due to complications of West Nile Virus.

Dy didn’t want a funeral. Instead, she requests that friends gather in their small groups, to tell stories, laugh, hug, and, in her words, “eat cake!”
