School food service during unexpected school closures

The South Dakota Department of Education’s Office of Child and Adult Nutrition Services has received approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to allow for school food services to continue during this time of unexpected school closures.

Sisseton City Hall to be closed to the public

Effective Monday, Mar. 23, 2020 Sisseton City Hall will be closed to the public for one week and will be re-evaluated at that time.

A drop box is available on the south side of the building for utility payments. Staff will still be in the office during regular business hours and can be reached by phone at 698-3391.

Sisseton Memorial Library to remain closed to the public

The Sisseton Memorial Library will remain closed to the public the week of Mar. 23 - 28. Curbside service will be available Monday - Thursday.

To use the curbside service, call the Library with your book/ DVD request. Items will be packed and ready for pickup, which is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. daily. Either pull up in your car or walk up to the curb and staff will bring out your material. Items can be returned in a disposable bag during the same daily times.

ACT Testing canceled

The ACT Testing that was scheduled for Saturday, Apr. 4, 2020 in the Sisseton High School Multi-purpose Room has been canceled.

Roberts Mutual Insurance/TEAM Insurance office closed to public

We are open 9-3 daily – doors are locked we have a drop box outside for payments and communications. or call them at 605-698-7122.

Coteau Valley credit union

Coteau Valley Federal Credit Union new hours are 10am- 4pm.

We have temporarily closed our lobby to members, but we have a makeshift teller station in the entry way. We ask that only one person be in the entryway at a time. Loan processing will be delayed. Members are encouraged to call us, use the drop box for transactions, and utilize online banking at www.coteauvalleyfcu.com or call 605-698-7481.

Ryan Likness American Family office closed to public. The doors will be locked to the public and still available for payment, questions, addittions or concerns. Payments will made electronicly over the phone at this time call 605-448-2357 for assistance.

Dakota nations Gaming enterprise temporary closure

Dakota Nations Gaming Enterprise's (DNGE) entitles Dakota Magic Casino & Hotel, Dakota Connection Bingo & Casino and Dakota Sioux Casino & Hotel will close temporarily beginning at noon on Sunday March 22, 2020. As always, the most important priority is the safety and well-being of our patrons and team members, The closure will be for at least 14 days, after that time the situation will be reevaluated and an update will be issued and posted on each of the entity's facebook pages.

The Roberts County Courthouse closed to public

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Roberts County Commission has issued the following statement; The safety of the Roberts County employees is a very high priority. Their dedication to their job is immeasurable. At this time, safety measures against the potential spread of COVID19 will take on varying measures through-out the several county offices. The Courthouse will be staffed, but will temporarily be closed to the walk in public. Safety notices will be posted at the entrances and we ask for your helpful cooperation.
