SHS honors Cal Schubert as legacy honoree

Sisseton School District Activities Director Eric Dahl has started a new tradition in the track & field community. The previously named Twilight Track Meet will now be a legacy track meet, honoring a different person every year. This inaugural year, the meet was called “The Schubert,” in honor of retired SHS teacher and coach Cal Schubert.

When presenting the award at the meet, Dahl said, “Today , we have the privilege of recognizing an individual who truly represents the heart of this award.
