Veterans Day Observed in Sisseton

On Monday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day was observed, with American Legion Post #50 and VFW Post #3342 holding programs at both Tekak-witha Living Center and Edgewood, with every Veteran receiving a gift from the posts. The Veterans also had dinner at Westside Elementary School and visited the classrooms to talk to the kids about patriotism, followed by a parade around the Sisseton area.
