STORYBOOK LAND THEATRE TO PERFORM IN SISSETON

Aberdeen’s Storybook PrecipitationLand Theatre (SBLT) is “setting sail” and hitting the road with their new musical, “How I Became a Pirate,” based on the popular children’s book by Melinda Long. The tour will be making a stop in Sisseton on Tuesday, Aug. 16 with a FREE performance beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Anderson Park. Those attending may want to bring a chair or blanket for seating. A FREE picnic meal will be served at the park by the Country Kids 4-H Club beginning at 5:30 p.m. (Limited to first 150 guests). Locally the SBLT performance is sponsored by the Sisseton Arts Council with “We The Many” grant support from Arts Midwest. In case of bad weather, the performance will be moved to the Sisseton City Hall Community Room. ~ Courtesy Photo
