As a result of a grant, the Sisseton School District Special Services Department, under Dr. Michelle Greseth, has created an adult transition program to help special needs students learn the skills necessary to transition into their adult life.

Students who have completed high school, but graduated with an unsigned diploma, are eligible to participate in the program from age 18 to 22 years old. These are people who have difficulty with basic life skills as well as employable job skills, and for whom the transition from being a student to being an adult outside of school is difficult.
