SDSO Music Composition Academy Concert on Sept. 13

Sisseton area students participated in the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra Music Composition Academy this summer. Now you can hear the music they wrote.

The Music Composition Academy serves as a catalyst for community in the Sisseton area while teaching students to express their creativity and write original music. The students participated in daily music composition lessons and activities with an emphasis on cultural understanding and finding human commonalities.

The Music Composition Academy concert will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Sisseton Performing Arts Center at 516 8th Avenue West. Admission is free.
