Roberts County State’s Attorney’s office hires new Deputy

The Roberts County State’s Attorney’s Office has hired Tessa Dalberg as the Deputy State’s Attorney, serving under State’s Attorney Dylan Kirchmeier. Dalberg, the daughter of Melissa and the late Harold Dalberg, is a Claire City native and a Rosholt High School graduate. She is also a May 2024 graduate of the University of South Dakota’s Knudsen School of Law.

Dalberg started her new job on Aug. 1 after taking time to study for the two-day South Dakota Bar Exam which took place in Pierre during the last two days of July. She received notification last week that she passed the exam and is now qualified to fulfill her new role officially.
