Roberts County Sheriff’s Office cautions against circulating false information

On Monday, Jan. 12, the Roberts County Sheriff’s Office released the following notice, amidst false rumors and social media posts circulating around the Sisseton area regarding the possible presence of ICE in the community:

The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office is aware of false information currently being shared in the community regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in the Sisseton area.
