Prendergast selected as 2025 SHS Alumnus of the Year

2025 Sisseton High School Alumnus of the Year Sharon Prendergast of Sisseton was named the 2025 Sisseton High School Alumnus of the Year during the program at the Annual SHS Alumni Reunion Banquet held at the Multi Purpose Room on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Prendergast is a member of the Class of 1975. Sharon Prendergast, SHS Class of 1975 was named Alumnus of the Year Saturday night, July 12, 2025 at the Sisseton High School Alumni Banquet.

Teresa Meland gave the following remarks in presenting the award to Prendergast:

“When asked to present the Alumnus of the Year award I was extremely honored. I knew it would not be difficult to come up with things to say about this individual, but keeping it to a time limit would be.
