Peever to celebrate its 125th August 7-8

The town of Peever will celebrate its 125th year on August 7-8, 2026. The town was founded by Tom Peever in 1901. Peever is truly “One of a Kind” – there is no other town by that name!

Events begin on Friday, Aug. 7, with digging up the Time Capsule at 4:30 p.m., Peever Alumni dinner at 6:00 p.m., and an outdoor movie at dusk. There will be a wide variety of events taking place on Saturday, Aug. 8.
