New Effington Museum to host paranormal team

by Mimi Larsen Courier Staff Writer

During the weekend of April 22-24, a team of five young men will set up special equipment designed to detect even the slightest evidence of paranormal activity, or ghosts, in the New Effington Museum. History lovers, paranormal seekers, and the merely curious may be interested in attending the Meet & Greet on Friday, April 22, at the museum at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to come.

The American Paranormal Investigative Team (APIT), from Minnesota, became interested in the 1913 hospital when one of its members, Jeremy Engholm, decided to drive through New Effington as a little detour from his job, which takes him all over the tri-state area.
