National Day of Prayer

In observance of National Day of Prayer, the Sisseton Area Ministerial Association sponsored a local event at noon on Thursday, May 5, at the Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, with several Christian faith leaders in the community participating to lead in prayer and song. Pictured above are some of the attendees and one of the leaders, Pastor Vern Donnell, who is president of the Ministerial Association. The motto for this year’s National Day of Prayer was “Exalt the Lord, Who has Established Us.” Prayers were offered for Family, Church, Business, Education, Military, Government, and Arts, Entertainment and Media. ~ Courier Photo
