Local 4-H Youth Excel at State Competition

Local 4-H youth from Grant County and Roberts County teamed up to bring home top honors at the State 4-H Horse Judging and Hippology Contest held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the South Dakota State University Equestrian Center in Brookings. Grant County 4-H members Madelyn Van Lith and Peyton Sumner, along with Roberts County 4-H members Lorn Harstad and Harper Harstad earned first place in the Junior Hippology and second place in the Beginner Horse Judging Contests.
