Lady Redmen finish season with 3rd place at State A
Lady Redmen finish season with 3rd place at State A -- The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball team started the run to the State A Tournament with a 86-22 victory over the Tiospa Zina Wambdi in the first game of Region 1A. They moved on to beat the Milbank Bulldogs 64-43 in the second round of Region 1A. In the SoDak 16 Sisseton defeated the Tri Valley Mustangs 63-52 to qualify for the State A Tournament. In the first round of the State A the Redmen defeated Mount Vernon/Plankington 57-47. The Redmen fell in the semi finals to the eventual state champions Vermillion Tanagers 47-50 to move Sisseton to the 3rd place game. In the 3rd place game Sisseton revenged the only loss of the regular season by defeating the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers 68-52 to bring home 3rd place.
