Hills & Valley Riding Club holds 28th Annual Ranch Rodeo July 20 at Miles Nelson Arena

RANCH RODEO FIRST PLACE WINNERS – Jorgenson J-Heart Ranch placed first and took home the trophy belt buckles in addition to $400 in prize money. The 28th Annual Hills & Valley Riding Club Ranch Rodeo was held Saturday, July 20, at the Miles Nelson Arena in Sisseton. Teams competed in six events: Team Penning, Team Branding, Team Doctoring, Double Muggin’, Team Poles and Barrels, and Calf Sled Relay. Each team consissted of one youth 14 years or younger, one female, and two other members. There were ten teams competing this year for prize money, buckles and a fun time.
