Girls State Delegates

Two Sisseton High School junior girls have been chosen to attend the American Legion Auxiliary South Dakota Girls State May 29-June 3 at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Cadence DuMarce (left), and Riley Huff (right), will be representing the Sisseton American Legion Auxiliary Post 50. School Counselor Lindsey Veflin-Filipek works with the girls as they complete their applications, and American Legion Auxiliary #50 sponsors the delegates and pays their registration each year. ~ Courtesy Photo
