Fort Sisseton VFW Post #3342 and Sisseton American Legion Post #50 hold Annual Membership Dinner on stormy November 11


ENTERTAINMENT -- Rylie Huff (above) provided the music at the Veterans Membership Dinner held Thursday, Nov. 11. She also lead singing of patriotic songs during the ceremony.

LEGION MEMBERSHIP AWARDS -- Members of Sisseton’s Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post #50 were recognized for years of continuous membership in the local veterans organization. Fort Sisseton VFW Post #3342 and Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post #50 and their Auxiliaries held a combined Veterans Day Membership Dinner on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, at Rosalie’s in Sisseton. The event was well attended, with approximately 125 present. A home meal was delivered by Phil George to Gold Star Mother Erma Aadland, and there were a few carry-out meals.

Post Commanders Troy Foster (VFW) and Calvin Hove (American Legion) facilitated the event, along with VFW Auxiliary President Tammy Chase, Legion Auxiliary President Judy Myrum.
