There are two houses side by side on Oddin Avenue in New Effington. One is essentially brand new, and the other is in the first stages of becoming a fully refurbished house. The new life breathed into both is the result of intense labor by Miles and Jenna Carl.

Miles owns and operates Carl Construction full time, and Jenna owns and operates Tiny Tigers, a daycare at the RC Technologies building, formerly the New Effington elementary school. They have three children, with one on the way, and keep busy with many family oriented activities. In between times, they spend any free time working on the latest house flipping project.
