Community Transit has taken possession of new propane-fueled buses. The company that says, “We’re here to get you there,” will be doing just that in Sisseton with one of two company buses funded by a Federal Transportation Administration “Low emission/No emission” bus grant that was part of a pilot program.

Kathy Holman and Terry Hoffman are co-directors of Community Transit, with Holman manning the Sisseton office, and Hoffman the Watertown office. The two worked together to write the FTA grant, and the company was one of five public transit agencies in the state to receive the new propane buses.
