2003 Sisseton High School Alumni Kerry Konda honored as 2025 Northern State University Distinguished Alumni

Kerry Konda, a 2003 Sisseton High School graduate, was recently honored with a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from Northern State University in Aberdeen. Konda was presented the award at the NSU Hall of Fame and Distinguished Alumni Ceremony on Sept. 19.

Konda’s Achievements

Kerry Konda is an accomplished educator and debate coach at Aberdeen Central High School in South Dakota, where he has shaped the future of countless students over the past 17 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) in Speech and Debate in 2007, a second B.S.Ed. in Secondary Social Studies in 2008, and a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) in K-12 Leadership and Administration in 2014, all from Northern State University.
