Dahl competes at State A

Sisseton senior Emma Dahl was the only Sisseton gymnast to compete in the State A Gymnastics Meet in Watertown on Friday, Feb. 12.

Emma tied for 15th place in vault, scoring an 8.600, came in 30th on bars scoring a 7.200, and was 28th in floor exercise scoring an 8.575.

Sisseton wrestlers go 1-3 in Salem

The Sisseton Redmen wrestlers traveled to Salem to wrestle in a quad meet on Friday, Feb. 12, going 1-3 in the meet.

Sisseton girls fall to Redfield at home

The Sisseton Redmen girls basketball team fell to the Redfield Pheasants 37-52 in an NEC match held in Sisseton.

Chloe Langager and Tara Nelson had 10 points a piece to lead the Redmen. Langager had eight rebounds and four steals to go with her 10 points. Nelson added one rebound and two steals to go with her 10 points. Raegan Janssen added eight points, one rebound and one steal. Sisseton boys lose heart-breaker to Dell Rapids

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team lost a heart-breaker on Tuesday, Feb. 16, to the Dell Rapids Quarriers, 51-55, at Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton.

Dell Rapids took a 24-21 lead into halftime. Sisseton came out after halftime on fire and out-scored Dell Rapids 21-11 to take a 42-35 lead after three quarters. Dell Rapids outscored Sisseton 20-9 in the fourth to take the game 55-51. Sisseton boys lose another close one to Cyclones

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Basketball Team lost another close game to the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones, 46-49, at Ben Reifel Gym in Sisseton on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Sisseton got off to a slow start, falling behind 5-18 after the first quarter. The Redmen cut the lead to 17-25 at halftime but couldn’t complete the comeback, falling to the Cyclones 46-49.
