Karen M. Steen, age 81, Sisseton, SD, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at her home per her request after spending time off and on at memory care facilities due to dementia and heart issues.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington, SD, with Rev. Karie Geyer and Vicar Pat Schubert officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the church and will continue Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in the Concordia Cemetery, rural Sisseton.

Kolleen Steen, age 54, of Brookings, SD, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Brookings Hospital.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.

A private family burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, rural Sisseton, SD.

Kervin “Toby” O. Steen, 80, Sisseton, SD, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton.

Funeral services were Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington, SD.

Burial was in the Concordia Cemetery, rural Sisseton.

Visitation was Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Carmen “Boso” G. Steen, age 80 of Sisseton, SD, passed away on May 12, 2020 at the Countryside Inn Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Rosholt, SD.

A public walk-through visitation was held Friday, May 15, 2020 at Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

A private family service was held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at Concordia Cemetery.
