Russell Gene Smith (Oyate Waokiye Wicasta) age 75, of Sisseton, SD journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Visitations were held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at the SWO Community Center from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday (All Night) January, 24, 2023.

Spring Interment will be at Driver Family Cemetery - Long Hollow

Irvin K. Smith, 90, Browns Valley, MN, passed away January 4, 2023, at the Browns Valley Health Center in Browns Valley.

Visitation was Monday, January 9, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, SD.

Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery, Browns Valley, at a later date.

Celebration of Life Service for Norma Joyce Smith, 95, of Sisseton, SD was held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Sisseton with Pastor Vern Donnell officiating.

Norma and Glenn will be interred together at the Sisseton Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.

There was visitation at the Cahill Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Janice M. Smith

A Memorial Service for Janice M. Smith of Sisseton, SD, was held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Chapel, Sisseton, with Pat Schubert officiating.

There was visitation at the church chapel one hour prior to the service. Burial was in the Faith Garden of Rest, New Effington, SD. Janice was laid to rest between her parents. Janice passed away at Tekakwitha Living Center in Sisseton.

Arvin Smith was born in Sisseton, SD, and after marrying his wife Verla (Johnson) in 1948 moved to Bremerton, WA in 1953 to work in the shipyard.

Services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Bridge Church, 23001 NE State Rt 3, Belfair, WA.

Darlene Bernice Smith, 83, Browns Valley, MN, passed away surrounded by family July 27, 2021, at the Coteau des Prairies Hospital in Sisseton, SD.

Funeral services were Friday, July 30, at 10:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Browns Valley.

Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery, Browns Valley.

Visitation open house was Thursday, July 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Browns Valley.
