Sisseton volleyball team falls to Milbank in five

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team traveled to Milbank on Thursday, Aug. 25, to take on the Milbank Bulldogs in a NEC matchup. Sisseton fell to Milbank 3-2 (25-20, 25-21, 16-25, 17-25 and 10-15).

Krista Langager set the pace for the Redmen with 17 kills on 35-40 hitting and 1 block. Emmalee Nielsen went 26-27 hitting with 7 kills, 19-19 serv- ing with 1 ace, and had one block. Tara Nelson went 15-18 serving with 4 aces and had 23 digs. Sadie Medenwald had 19 assists, Ruby Rice added 8 assists, and Annika Estwick had 35 digs.
