Sisseton volleyball season comes to an end

The Sisseton Redmen Volleyball Team ended its season in the opening round of Region 1A play at Redfield on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Sisseton lost to the Redfield Pheasants 0-3 (14-25, 16-25 and 17-25) to end the season with an 8-19 record.

Krista Langager had 8 kills going 20-23 hitting and 1 solo block to pace the Redmen. Emmalee Nielsen had 1 kill going 17-20 hitting and 11 digs. Sidney Johnson went 17-18 serving with 2 aces and had 1 solo block and 1 assisted block, and Annika Estwick had 4 assists on 35 attempts setting. The Pheasants were led by Gracie Fast with 11 kills going 20-26 hitting and 1 solo block. Katie Rozell added 9 kills going 17-23 hitting. Mallory Smith went 16-17 serving with 5 aces. Camryn Rohlfs had 25 assists going 76-78 setting, and Chloe Zens had 19 digs.
