Sisseton Track and Field Teams host Legion Relays on May 6

TWILIGHT MEET/LEGION RELAYS -- Sisseton’s track and field teams hosted a combined Twilight Meet/Legion Relays at the Sisseton Athletic Complex on Friday, May 6, under chilly conditions and overcast skies. The Legion Relays had been postponed from the previous Friday due to weather, a common occurrence this year for the spring sports. ~ Courier Photo

The Sisseton Redmen Girls and Boys Track Teams hosted the Legion Relays at the Sisseton Athletic Complex on Friday, May 6.
Redmen placing in the top five in the Boys events included Kasey Guy, who took second in the 200 Meter and third in the 100 Meter, Hunter Biel, who took third in the 1600 Meter, Jay Chaudhari, who took third in the discus throw, the 4x200 Relay team (Quincy Harris, Keondray White, Mitchell Moen and Mason Herzog), who came in fifth, the 4x400 Relay team (Hunter Biel, Gage Hanson, Mason Herzog and Ethan Despiegler), who came in third, and the Sprint Medley Relay team (Kasey Guy, Ethan Despiegler, Mason Herzog and Hunter Biel), who came in fifth.
