Sisseton hosts Baseball Tournament

STICKLAND HITS -- Sisseton’s Carter Stickland gets a hit for Sisseton in the opening game of the American Junior Legion Regional Baseball Tournament against Hamlin.

SEIBER PITCHES -- Sisseton’s Konnor Seiber was the starting pitcher in Sisseton’s opening game in the American Junior Legion Regional Baseball Tournament held at Brewster-Gunderson Field on Monday, July 25.

The American Junior Legion Regional Baseball Tournament was held Monday and Tuesday, July 25-26, at the Brewster - Gunderson Field in Sisseton.

Sisseton lost to Hamlin 5-10 in their opening game, and also lost to Redfield in their second game of the tourney 1-11 to close out their season.

Groton was the Region Champion. Hamlin/Bryant/ Hayti and Warner-Ipswich- Northwestern also qualified for the State Tournament.
