Sisseton hosts annual Legion Relays Track Meet at Athletic Complex April 25

The Sisseton High School Boys and Girls Track Teams hosted the Legion Relays at the Sisseton Athletic Complex on Thursday, Apr. 25. Originally scheduled for Friday, Apr. 26, the meet was moved to Thursday, Apr. 25, due to forecasted rain.

The Legion Relays are a popular meet for the surrounding schools. This year’s meet attracted nine schools.

The Sisseton Boys were led by Ryder Graff’s first place finish in the 3200 Meter. Two of Sisseton’s relay teams placed second – the 4x100 Relay Team (Quincy Harris, Caden Gibson, Landyn Steichen and Ethan DeSpiegler) and the 4x200 Relay Team (LJ Crooks, Ronald Neilan, Quincy Harris and Reggie Lincoln).

Leading the Sisseton Girls was Chloe Langager with a first place finish in Shot Put and second place in Discus. Also placing second was Emmalee Nielsen in the Triple Jump.
