Sisseton golfers take second at NEC in Groton

The Sisseton Redmen Boys Golf Team took second at the NEC Golf Meet held in Groton on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Blake Nielsen took fourth place shooting a 77 to lead the Redmen. Andrew Kranhold shot an 83, taking seventh place. Riley Steen came in fourteenth shooting a 93.

Caleb Barse of Tiospa Zina Tribal School was the medalist, shooting a 72. Aberdeen Roncalli won the NEC title.

The Sisseton Golf Team will travel to Aberdeen on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and Madison on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
