Sisseton Girls Wrestling Team takes 4th at Region 1 Tourney

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Wrestling Team took fourth place in Region 1 on Thursday, Feb. 19, at DeSmet.

Sisseton had four girls qualify for the State Tourna-ment to be held in Sioux Falls Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-28. The top four placers in each weight class advance to State.

Sisseton’s Isabelle Current took first place at 110 lbs.; Clara Iverson took second at 100 lbs; Vi Anderson took second at 125 lbs.; and Maryann Rice took fourth at 155 lbs.
