Sisseton girls pick up another win at Elk Point

The Sisseton Redmen girls basketball team picked up at 41-38 win over the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in Elk Point. The Sisseton girls lost their first game of the season but have since been on a roll, winning eight straight games to improve to 8-1 on the season.

Sisseton jumped out to an early lead, 8-1 at the end of the first quarter, and took a 22-8 lead into halftime. Elk Point-Jefferson came out in the third quarter and held Sisseton to only 4 points while scoring 12 to cut the lead to 26-20 at the end of the third period. Sisseton held on to secure the victory 41-38.
