Sisseton Girls fall to No. 1 Hamlin in SoDak 16

The Sisseton Redmen Girls Basketball Team took on the Hamlin Chargers at the SoDak 16 for a chance to go to State A, falling to the Chargers 40-60 in the game held at the Watertown Civic Arena on Thursday, Mar. 5.

Sisseton jumped out to a 15-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. Hamlin came storming back in the second quarter and led 29-26 at halftime. Sisseton’s shooting went cold in the third quarter, only scoring 4 points in the quarter to fall behind 30-47 at the end of the third quarter. Sisseton could not muster a comback and lost to the Chargers 40-60.
