Opal J. Evenson, age 100, New Effington, SD, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at the Browns Valley Health Center.

Funeral services were Monday, July 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington officiated by Rev. Karie Geyer.

Visitation was Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial was in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, New Effington.
