Legion Post 50 Baseball Team takes fifth in Milbank Tournament

The Sisseton American Legion Post 50 baseball team took 5th place in the Heritage Tournament that took place June 19-22 in Milbank. The team played in three games on the weekend and were able to win two of them.
n their first game, Post 50 took on the Legion team from Redfield and came out on top winning 13-2. The team collected 14 hits and each starter had at least one hit apiece. Reggie Lincoln drove in 4 runs and Bradley Hansen knocked in 2. Levi Nelson stole 3 bases in the game while Carter Stickland stole 2. LJ Crooks started on the mound for Post 50. He threw 5 innings, and only gave up 2 runs on 8 hits, 3 walks and he struck out 4 Redfield batters.
