Joan A. Gunnarson, age 85, New Effington, SD, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at St. Gerard’s Community of Care in Hankinson, ND.

Funeral Services were Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in New Effington.

Visitation was Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Eggers Funeral Home in Rosholt, SD, and continued Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial was in the Garden of Rest Cemetery, New Effing- ton.
