Hortness takes 13th at Region Golf Tourney, and advances to State A

Sisseton’s Elliot Hortness qualified for the State A Golf Tournament by shooting a 100 (49-51) and taking thirteenth place in the Region 1A Golf Tourney held in Madison on Thursday, May 26.

Teammate Ashlynn LaFromboise took 22nd shooting a 112 (55-57), and just missed qualifying for State.

Keva Burshiem of Flandreau was the medalist with an 85 (45-40). Madison took the team title at Region 1A.

The State A Golf Tournament was held June 6-7 in Sioux Falls.
