Gymnasts compete in Britton

The Sisseton Gymnastics Team traveled to Britton to compete in a triangular with Britton/Hecla and Aberdeen Central on Tuesday, Dec. 21.

Isabelle Skarnagel came in 6th in the all-around, scoring an 8.00 on vault, an 8.10 on beam (5th place on beam), 7.60 on floor and 5.65 on bars.

Olivia Deutsch came in 7th in the all-around, scoring a 7.60 on vault, 7.80 on beam, 7.10 on floor, and 5.45 on bars.

Tristyn Ballin came in 8th in the all-around, scoring a 7.80 on vault, 5.40 on beam, 6.85 on floor, and 5.75 on bars.

Kyra Nilson came in 9th in the all-around, scoring a 7.55 on vault, 6.15 on beam, 6.80 on floor, and 3.75 on bars.

Ally Christopherson scored 8.05 on vault and 7.25 on beam.

Colie Schultz scored 7.35 on beam and 7.10 on floor.

Aberdeen won the team title, and Maggie Flites and Ashlyn Beyer, both of Aberdeen Central, tied for all-around champion.

Sisseton will host an Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Ben Reifel Gym.
