Cross Country Team competes at State A Meet

Sisseton Boys Cross Country Team competes at State A The Sisseton Redmen Boys Cross Country Team competed in the State A Cross Country Meet held in Huron on Saturday, Oct. 25. The Sisseton Redmen Boys Cross Country Team competed in the State A Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron.
Ryder Graff set the pace for the Redmen finishing in 29th place in a time of 17:27.80. Brett Hanson came in 53rd in a time of 17:57.92, Noah Estwick ran the race in 18:57.47 to come in 83rd, Everett Groos came in 126th in a time of 21:24.09, Landon Wegener ran the race in 22:09.53 to come in 128th, and Derrick Flute came in 129th in a time of 23:31.10.
The Redmen took 14th place as a team with 221 points. This is the first time the Sisseton Cross Country Team has competed in the State A Meet since 1995-1996. The team also finished 14th that year with 227 points.
