Anni Nelson

Anni (Poehlmann) Nelson, 97, of Veblen, SD, came to the United States as a war-bride. She met and married Sherman on March 1, 1949 while he was serving in the US Army in Germany.

Anni passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Essentia Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Visitation was held Friday, February 24, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Claire City, SD.
