Roxane D. Phelps

Roxane Dephane (Ringsaker) Phelps, age 62, of Laurel, TN, formerly of the New Eff- ington, SD area, entered into eternal rest comfortably on December 3, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center, with her sister Nadine by her side. She fought a long battle of health issues in which her body was too weak to endure.

Roxane has been cremated with a family Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.

Mary Lou Drinkwitz, age 75, of Wheaton, MN passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A Memorial Mass was held Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Ave Maria Catholic Church in Wheaton with Fr. John Paul Knopik Celebrant.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service time at the church.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton, MN at a later date.

Rose Marie Spear, age 87, of Bar Harbor, ME, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Birch Bay Retirement Village.

Interment will be at Ledgelawn Cemetery in Bar Har- bor.

Ray Bubak

Sisseton, SD native Ray Bubak passed away at his Mon- trose, CO home Sunday, December 11, 2022 surrounded by family. He was 87.

He passed into the loving arms of his savior on December 11, 2022 surrounded by family, and was buried under a beautiful oak tree on December 16, 2022.

Funeral Mass for Rosemary Ann White, 95, of Sisseton, SD was held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Hall, Sisseton with Fr. Gregg Frankman Celebrant.

Interment was in the Sisseton Cemetery.

There was an all-night Wake Service on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Hall, Sisseton.

Funeral Mass for Jeanette Justina Okroi, 95, of Grenville, SD was held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Grenville, SD with Fr. Kenneth Lulf Celebrant.

There was visitation one hour prior to services.

Inurnment will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Grenville, SD in the spring.

Jerome Nelson, age 96, of Sisseton, SD passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Tekakwitha Living Center in Sisseton.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Funeral Mass for James Frederick Forrette, age 92, Sisseton, SD, was held on Thurs- day, December 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD, with Fr. Gregg Frankman Celebrant

Interment was in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD, with Military Rites by Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post #50 and Fort Sisseton VFW Post #3342.

There was visitation at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

Wayne Goodhart

Wayne Roy Goodhart, 52, Beardsley, MN, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls surrounded by his family.

His Funeral Mass was Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Browns Valley, MN, officiated by Fr. Stan Wieser.

Visitation was Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Time of Sharing at 7:00 p.m. at the church and continued Saturday morning one hour prior to the service.

A Celebration of Life for Wayne was held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hemet, CA.
