A community’s reaction to tragedy is a window into its soul. When a Sisseton High School student was diagnosed with two forms of leukemia, the school’s and the community’s response proved to be kind, compassionate, and caring. Through a FBLA community service project instigated by Krista Langager and Ruby Rice, with tremendous support from many others, more than $10,000 was raised.
