The Sisseton Redmen Boys Golf Team opened the season on a strong note, taking second at the Sioux Valley Invite on Monday, Aug. 17, in Volga.
Leading the way for the Redmen was Andrew Kranhold, who shot an 82 (43-39) to take fourth place. Blake Nielsen took fifth shooting an 84 (44-40). Riley Steen shot 87 (47-40) for ninth place, Mason Gray took fifteenth place shooting a 93 (47-46, and Ben Morales came in 39th shooting a 107 (59-48).
Aberdeen Roncalli won the invite shooting a 334, followed by Sisseton shooting 346. Mason Carrels was the medalist, shooting 76 (39-37).
